I just got a 2008 F250 FX4 Supercab with the audiophile system and subwoofer and want to remove the rear seatback in order to run some wires back there and out to the truck bed. As I haven't had a Ford truck for about 25 years, can someone tell me how the seat or seatback is removed? I'm just wondering if there is an easy way to do it or is it going to be one of those long afternoon projects like it was on my last GMC extended cab truck. Thanks for the help.

If I remember right, I was able to remove mine, on my 2004, by just pulling on the top, since it just snaps into place. I could be wrong, it was a long time ago when I did it last.

Not sure on the newer models, but on my '03 it just lifts straight up towards the roof.
