Superduty Rear.

I just picked up a superduty rear for a 100 bucks, 4.10 LSD. I was wondering if there is a way to transplant the rear discs to mine, without using the 8x170 bolt pattern or not.

Yes there is. Wheel spacers that adapt from 170mm to 6.5. Thats what I would do! That would solve the bolt spacing and also correct the narrow track width on the rear

That's right I didn't even think about that. I have fender Flares on it and wanted spacers anyhow, now I have an even better reason for them, thanks TJ

No problem. I think the u-joint is different but you should be able to get a u-joint to make it work

i have doen some measuring and the rear itself should bolt right in, the only problem is the driveshaft yoke, i havent had tuime to see if you could just swap the 10.25 yoke for the 10.5

Joe it should be pretty easy to find a u-joint that will fit the SD yoke and the OBS drive shaft. it will just take some time with a knowledgeable part guy who knows how to use the u-joint book.

I would imagine they both use a 1350 u-joint. Even if they are different wouldn't the yokes be interchangable and I could swap them around.

The yokes may not be swapable. The pinions are not the same on the 10.25 and the 10.5. They may be but they may not be, I don't know.
