U could call a stealership for the bolts as I have never seen any other place for them. Then again a google search should come up with what u want. The head gaskets aren't cheap since they're 50-60 bucks each.
any advice possibvle on building back a 4.6 i scrapped the 5.4 idea and i got a 4.6 block with heads and timingfigure id do a head job on it before i build it back and drop it in
You'll get more torque from a 5.4L and it will come in about a thousand rpm sooner. I have my 5.4 geared and trans schedules set to go with the torque curve.
Same engine as far as the heads. The 5.4 uses a taller block and that makes the intake and front cover different. The exhaust is different since the ports are up a little higher. Putting a 4.6 in something heavy requires some power producing goodies. I haven't been inside my 5.4 yet and it's a bit of a handful at times. I would put 20,000 pounds behind it not worried about it having the power to pull.
I have a 1999 lincoln navigator with a 5.4 liter engine. Since the 5.8 liter trinity engine is a 5.4 liter with a longer stroke (and a supercharger) will it bolt up to my transmission?

Holy zombie thread Batman! This thread is 14 years old. You should probably start a new thread. I believe the 5.8, being of the modular persuasion, should physically bolt in place of the 5.4, but I'm not sure a stock Navigator trans is up to the added power, and I'm sure the wiring would be a headache.

x2 on the holy thread revival
yes the block will bolt up, BUT there’s a lot more involved (oil pan, etc)
