Passenger side of engine no work HELP
I was driving to work and the truck just lost all power. i got it home and looked under the hood and put my hand near the exhaust manifold on the passenger side and it was cold. DO you think this could be my cps? it also had a rough idle since i bought the truck.

i just replaced the drivers side when it acted up like this on me before but it didnt seem to fix the problem. and i pulled the connector and looked at the terminals but they all seemed clean. and not burnt. i left a something out. it did the same thing last week but it straightend out after about 20 seconds. now its just running like hell

damn i hope thats not the case.. i talked to the dealership about it and the tech guy said it may be my cps but i thiught i would get a second opinion. well i guess if its the harness its easier to get to then the drivers side. the worst thing about it all is i had an extra harness but i sent it back to the supply company in which i bought it from.

Big Problem RH & LH Both????
I keep pulling the same two (2) codes:
P 1395 GP Monitor Fault Bank #1
P 1396 GP Monitor Fault Bank #2
I just changed all GP's last week as I was just getting one of those codes,
(Don't recall which one) I tested the GP's through the connectors and found GP's both sides of the engine nearest the fire wall.
Bought new harnesses and pulled the little SOB apart and changed the GP's
after testing each one before installation.
I did not check the harnesses again (Stupid) and they looked good visually and I put it all back together and that is when I pulled both codes.
In the mean time the Dealer changed my CPS re the recall. I just finished pulling the passenger valve cover and removed both harnesses, cleaned them by compressed air and each and every wire checked good. I then removed the VC gasket and checked those pins and they checked good.
I also double checked the newly installed GP's and they are good. I just know that if I pull the driver's side that more than likley it too will check good.
QUESTION.
How do I check the harness that plugs into the VC plug? I don't even know where it goes. Something other that the UVC harness and connections is causing these codes.
I have in the past cleared the codes and the rig runs great and as long as it is hot (Warmed up) and I stop and then restart the engine everything is cool. Let it cool and BINGO I get both codes.
I checked the GPR the best that I knew how and everything seems to be getting full voltage before and after I turn on the Ign.
I'm fairly convinced that it is in the red/black harness on top of the engine but I don't know how to check it out. Also, as long as I have the old harnesses off and out I guess I'll go ahead and put in the new ones.
The truck runs so dang good it just don't seem like it should have a stupid problem like this.
All thoughts and suggestions are appreciated as always.
