Anyone around Lincoln or Omaha parting a truck out?
I need some misc parts for a 1994 that only make sense to get off a parting out truck. Need a driver's door panel in gray, ignition key cylinder, gauge cluster seat, etc. I also could use a long box in white color. Let me know if you may be parting a truck around here as I could use some parts.
When I first registered I had a PM box then poof its gone. According to whomever runs the tech support you have to have 25 posts and then it might happen.
PPrash if your in lincoln bring the cylinder and a door key to mattice lock and safe and ask for bill. 9 times out of ten new wafers and a first cut key will take care of any issues. If not we do have new ones.
hello Nebraska,
did you try hansens truck salvage? in Omaha i believe on 60th and "s" street.
they have alot of vintage and newer parts. maybe harry or the boys out there may have what you are lookin' for. if not there are 4 other salvage places on that street.
right next to hansens is all foreign, around the corner is u-pull it, go under the tressel
and you have southwest auto parts and across the street is carls auto salvage.
or on south 17th street is 5 star truck parts they may have some good parts as well.
and if you go towards epply on abott dr. there is able auto parts and level auto salvage on 9th and locust street in carter lake,ia which beleive it or not is on the nebraska side of Iowa.
in lincoln i kno there is olsen auto recycling that would probably have some good stuff for you, and as near as i can remember from my days spent behind the counter at Advance Auto Parts, lock cylinders aren't going to cost you that much new in fords as they were usually pretty simple. but it's been a few months and i may be wrong...
