ford mass air conversion kit M-9000-L58

By its self, no. The ECM/PCU that comes with the kit does not control the E4OD. It will require a stand-alone controler for the trans. The intake is not an issue.

Yes it will. L58 is the 'holy grail' Mass Air kit - priced that way, and apparently made of 'unobtanium' - I bid on a couple of these in texas at $1000 each and lost.
IT is SPECIFICALLY made for the E4OD and SPECIFICALLY programmed to bring on the shifts, high, hard and fast (sounds porno but it aint)
The unavailability of this kit is why I abandoned the 347/E4OD/F150 California bodied 2wd project. IT woulda been sweet....
But all is not lost - you can run mass air using the T51 kit and your stock ECM TOGETHER. (sounds scary but it aint - the T51 controls the engine and could care less about what the tranny is up to, the stock ecm controls the tranny using piggybacked signals about running parameters like TPS, VSS etc)
You up to do some wiring?
Of course you can always find a wrecked lightning, but this is the first thing they rip out at the yards.
