I know this probably fits better in the modular section but I get much more responses here. So, I want a better sound for my F250 5.4l. Instead of getting a whole cat-back system would I be able to just put a performance muffler in place of the stock one? Also, if this is possible, what are some good choices (I like loud trucks)?

 

stock piping is 3", so it is smart to stick with it like you mentioned; i did. no rattles to worry about, etc. anyways..

here is what i run:
- stock piping
- Magnaflow 18" center in/offset out XL muffler
- Magnaflow universal 3" in/out cat converter
- 12" long 4" slash cut SS tip
