292 y-block to 262 inline 6 swap 64 f100

My friend has a 64 f100 with a 292 y-block and t98 4 spd trans. The engine is shot. He also has a 64 f100 parts truck with a 262 inline six and t89 3spd on column. The 262 is in good shape but the truck is badly rusted. what would it take to swap this out. I am mainly concerned with the bellhousing because he wants to keep the 4 speed. Any ideas?

havi is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
With complete donors available, it shouldn't be a problem. The bellhousing should disassemble from the tranny and swap over, too. I haven't done this exactly, but the T98 is pretty much the same as the T18 and Ford's 3.03 3 speed, which I have done. ONe thing to keep in mind is the frame perches may need swapping as the inline is narrower.
