Get a f350 solid axle and install. you need to get the mounts and weld/bolt them to the frame. its easier to just get a f250 frame (they are leaf sprung) and put your f150 body on it (thats what im doing)

If it's a 4x4 it's not called a twin i-beam, it's called the twin traction beam, or TTB. There are solid axle swaps for the 4x4 to get rid of it, but you're pretty much stuck with it in a 2wd.

Are you looking for double "A" arms with conventional shocks or coil overs?
If so mustang II sytems are pretty much maxed out with the earlier F-100s.
I did run across a photo/article once of a 80s model F series with a mid 70s full-size Ford sedan front frame/suspension grafted to it some how.
Good luck.

This interests me as well. I'd love a a-arm/coil over suspension...

Ugh. I don't get that at all. The TIB/TTB is what makes a Ford a Ford for me.

i am not real familiar in this area. The 90 ford f150 i have is a ttb then. does that limit the ammount of lift that can be installed?

Different strokes for different folks, different uses & purposes, thaz' all. Iz' all good...
Thats been the beauty of Fords from the begining. Henry not build just what you want? Then take his parts from elsewhere an doit' yerself.

You don't want to do this for a bunch of different but really good reasons.
