He was very, very lucky he didn't lose his pension (breach of NDA is a situation where you can lose it) and it was only because he had someone he knew go to bat for him.
And people wonder why DearbornDerek and me don't say what's going on.

Ken is the event being held at the Dearborn Development Center?
We are always the last to know.

hmmm... I just can't decide if I like it, looks better than the Tundra and Chevy, but not nearly as good as the current F-150. I think I like it better than the current Ram, but I will have to wait to see it in person.

Definatly went with the same style front end as a charger. Just bigger. Notice how its at an angle. Not bad, the box looks weird.

Thumbs up

What on earth are you boyz going to be chuntering on about when the thing is finally out ?
Oh just remembered you will then be slagging it off because its not this that or the other, remember its a Ford not a limited edition Ferrari.

And before you bounce right back, yes the F150 is a great VOLUME production vehicle

That is what I said in another thread about it here on FTE. From the windshield back it looks like a new Tundra to me.

Yeah, but they are still saying that it looks like a Tundra, just because we've had trucks longer doesn't mean that they copied us, he's just saying that it looks alot like the Tundra that anyone smart wouldn't want to copy anyway.

We should send this pic to Car & Driver, MoterTrend, Edmunds etc. see if they put it on their websites. I've gone to their websites and they don't have any pics of it on any of those sites.

2009 diesel

Now go and google 2009 dodge trucks and you will see this pic and the fact that they are going to have the diesel in 2009. 20 mpg city 25 mpg hwy with 300 hp and 460 ft lbs trq. I don't know about you but that sounds pretty good for a 1/2 ton truck. I think the link is www.allpar.com/model/ram/2009-ram.html

The Ram looks good. And the 09' F-150 looks pretty good too. With all the speculation regarding style/appearance/engines/transmissions I know one thing for sure. MORE high tech competition is on the very near horizen in the full size truck arena. And that should bode well for we consumers.
