Question Slight jerk in tranny

I have a 04 Ranger 4x4 and today when i was driving it felt like the tranny jerked or slipped...it did it twice when i was speeding up slowly and about 40-50 mph it was a big enough jerk to get me attention, that was the first time it did it...only twice and never did it again, could there be an accuring problem or what?

It happens too fast for me to see any loss in rpm's, but it's there and gradually getting worse.

Perhaps a tranny mount is shot. When was the last time your fluid was changed?

Ok, replace the fluid, and see if that doesn't improve things.

intermittent shift solenoid, perhaps. Check for codes stored with a scan tool. Mark
