external balancing

Guys, this is I am sure a total noob question but I am going to ask it anyway because I have been reading and cant find an answer. How do I tell if my 302 is externally balanced or not and if it is if it uses a 28oz or 50oz. I ask because I am getting ready to pull the engine out of a 91 lincoln Mark VII and put it in a Toyota 4runner. Gotta have a ford powered DD. Anyway I know that for my swap I need a 164tooth flywheel and a 10.5 inch clutch but I don't know if I need a balanced flywheel or not. any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I would assume that for offroad and Towing I would want the 50oz to build inertia but that is just a thought.

you'll need the 50oz one, in '83 I think they switched over to the 50oz from the 28 they were using, just grab one from a truck or a stang, and have fun.
