1960 F-100 electronic igintion conversion

Does anyone have any insight to doing a ignition conversion on a 1960 F-100 w/ 223 inline six. I know they make the kits for the V-8 models but would like to do the swap to my six for more reliablity.

I've read that an DS II distributor from a 300 I-6 can be adapted to fit the venerable 223 I-6, takes replacing the drive gear, which means a lot of machining, but I've not done it yet.
The only commercially available conversion is from Pertronics, but that only works on the 1961 & later distributors, though I believe Mallory might have one.

Right, a conversion to the duraspark II would require a durapark distributor, so if you can make one fit....
