yes. on your 94.5 and 95 its not a direct bolt in. you will need to do what this link talks about

yup, unfortunately for us it is not a direct bolt on for our trucks. you need the HPOP reservior, HPOP, '96-'97 gasket, and some other parts from the '96-'97 trucks. it should say in the link that tim posted. check it out and see what you find. i'm going to check it out right now being as cody and I both have to do it on our trucks so i might as well try to figure out what i'm doing before we do it. Trl, in the 94.5 and 95 strokes the front cover is different than the later models. To make a SD HPOP work here's what you need.
96-97 HPOP reservoir
96-97 HPOP gasket
11/16 wood/paddle drill bit with the outer cutting edge ground off
3/16 drill bit (I think that's the right size)
1 small headed self taping screw and grey diesel RTV.
Your res doesn't have a stand pipe in it, that later years do.
Your front cover has a small hole just to the right of the drive gear where the bleed back occurs, this needs to be pluged with the screw from the pump side.
Then using the 96 and up gasket as a template, you'll see where you need to drill for the extra hole. Mark it and drill from the gasket surface into the open cavity below that you just pluged the other hole.
Now with your hole drilled, use the paddle bit to make a gasket relief the same depth as the rest of the gasket track.
Put it all back together and you are good to go. In order to do all this, you need to remove the HPOP. I did another writeup on that, and am sure someone will post it for you. Good luck man, let us know how it goes. Like Travis said, we are fixin' to do it ourselves. When we do, I'll take step by step pics.

I don't even want to know what the dealership wanted for the res. I just paid $30 for two of them from the junk yard. You can use your gear, they are all the same. Don't send your gear in with the core, that's not part of the deal. When I bought my pump from Diesel Specialists, I asked if they would take mine for a core. They said yes, and that they didn't really care. I don't think it will be a problem. Hell, your gonna send it with SD fittings on it because you have to use yours.....They won't know till they open it up and that's probably gonna be far after they have given you your core credit. But that's just my opinion.
