Rancho Shocks??
#5
I stand by earlier posts I made to this forum. I have five Rancho shocks that were on my 2005 F-350. Anyone that wants them, pay the freight, and I will ship. Otherwise I retained to use for demonstration of bad shocks, much like in a tire store, the shocks that you can push with a couple fingers. My 2005 had 28,000 miles when I put on Billsteins. Pure and simple, it cured the death wobble. That is my experience.

There is a difference between the 'Rancho branded' shocks that come with the FX4 package and actual Rancho shocks.
The Rancho branded ones are just Monroe shocks painted to look like Ranchos.
Rancho 5000's seem to be decent shocks.
I went with Bilsteins and am very happy with how they have performed.

Well, then, maybe Rancho should pay me for what it cost to change out to Billsteins. Or, if they did not manufacture for FORD, they should sue Ford. We all know they were actually a knock off manufactured by MONROE for FORD, and I presume all Rancho shocks are the same, although different quality. When I paid 50K$ for my 2005 I expected first quality--NOT RANCHO QUALITY. Plain and simple.
