I have had good luck with Meguiars #2 Fine Cut Cleaner by hand and rotary on glass water spots. You can find it at lots of parts stores like NAPA, O'Reillys and such.

If you have a rotary machine you could try the Megs #4 Heavy Cut cleaner if the #2 doesn't seem to be working. The #4 might be very hard to break down by hand. That's why I meantioned the rotary.

I use Mother's clear coat wheel polish on my glass. You don't need much abrasion, so flitz, or other thin polish should do.

Look, see these two tow hooks? They look like tusks. And what kind of animal has tusks?

there's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I like to think that I walk that line every day of my life.

glass cleaner (I use sprayway, cheap at Sams Club, and it works.) and 0000 steel wool. Just make SURE it's 0000. Shines it right up, water spots vanish quickly and relatively easy.

I used to wax my windshield too, but it killed my wipers prematurely. I use Piaa Wiper blades that take care of the windshield between polishings.

So I could use wax on my windows. Would it have the same effect as Rain-X?
