Transfer case question

I have a 01 F-250 regular cab v-10, it has the manual shift 4x4 transfer case, does it hurt anything to drive with the hubs locked all the time so when I need four wheel drive I don't have to get out and lock the hubs? I do this just in the winter time.

Doesn't hurt a thing. Just make sure front and rear wheels are turning the same speed when you pull the transfer case lever into 4H. I leave my front hubs locked all the time when I hear snow in the forecast.

The only thing it will hurt is gas mileage. Always a good idea to lock in the hubs once a month the lube things up anyway.
