I wanted to know some opinions on local stores for best quality brake pads. Less dust and quiet pads preferred instead of cheap prices. I need to replace my pads on my 05 F150 4x4 and want some opinions on who carries the best pads locally here in Phoenix, AZ. My truck is lifted with 35in tires so I need good pads. We have Autozone, NAPA, Checker Auto Parts, Pep Boys, Four Wheel Parts and of course Ford Dealership to name the ones I know of. Thanks for any help on who carries the best pads.

 

I put the Bendix Ceramic pads on my 07', very little dust , no noise stops good. I got them at Advance Auto.

 

if you search around on here you'll find that the majority of people consider akebono ceramic pads to be the best around..... got them from rockauto.com

I have the ones from Napa and dont have any complaints.

I'll second (actually third) the Akebonos. Hardly any dust, great stopping, and they wear incredibly well. I have about 30k since install and they are not even 1/2 worn (just rotated tires today and double-checked). No squeals either. Great shoes!!

I have ceramic pads and slotted and drilled rotos on now but Wagner Thermoquiets on my other cars and very happy happy with them.
