Couple of things
1. When I pulled off my oil cooler and replaced all 4 of the O-rings the two biggers ones were completely brittle and just fell off into pieces. So if it's been a while you might want to give her a look see.
2. The husband of a lady I work with really let me know just how clueless most people are about diesels. He saw me getting into my truck and said why do you want that piece of American crap? I said "explain why you think that" He has a 2002 Tundra(puke) and said his truck would do just about anything mine will. So I said lets go hook up about 17,000 pounds of a load of hay and pull it 430 miles at 65 mph. He then says, " Well, that MIGHT be a little much for me but the new Tundras will do it easy." I just laughed and said lets talk more when you have a clue. I also said "BTW this piece of crap almost has 300K miles on it.

I hear ya. My brother-in-law and sister give me a hard time about my F250 4x4. They say its a POS. I tell them to find 2 chains and hook their tahoe and little colorado to my bumper. I told them I could pull them down the highway backwards and never lose a mpg. Not to mention mine will still be running when theirs is in the scrap yard.
