My alternator just went out and I need a new one. the alt that I have is actually a GM alt. Should I go back with a GM alt since the hook up will be simple or a diffrent one. I also am on a budget here!!!!
I would probably just get one from the local auto store; should be about $40 or so, but you could probably get one out of a salvage yard even cheaper. It may be a little tricky knowing what your particular alt. came from, but the guys at the yard may know.
