chip recomendation

Hey guys,just wondering what chip you would recommend for a 2006 6 litre Ford diesel engine. Im new to the board and what like to take this time and say hello and I appreciate any information you may have to offer. Thanx Mark

Ptech computers do not support chips like the EEC IV & V computers do. You need a downloader or programmer as most people call them. The SCT Xcal3 will be your better choice for custom tuning options for the 6.0l.

There are tons of SCT dealers and SCT custom tuners. I would go to there site www.sctflash.com to locate their dealers in your area. We are listed and would be glad to help you.

I ordered a Superchips Flashpack 1815 from Strippermotorsports.com (866-706-7744) and the service was excellent! Including shipping the price was $365. They also carry other brands and were very helpful on the phone responding to questions, etc. which was much more than the other retailers were even willing to do!

If you go to the 6.0 fourm and ask that question you will get a ton of information. And I know what they will say. So give it a try.

Could you guys recommend a dealer in the Salt Lake City, UT/Ogden, UT area? I'm from Southwestern Wyoming, and that is the largest metro area around me. Sorry, I should have said a good SCT dealer/tuner.

Go to the 6.0L forum and see how many recommendations you get for Matt@Spartandieseltech.com. I think you'll find many many satisfied customers there that will be glad to answer any questions about his tunes. Top notch service and information. There isn't anyone more knowledgeable about the 6.0 than him
