A lot of users here have had some negative to no results w/the spacer...
Have you had any check engine lights or did you do a power cycle after doing all the mods?

Btw... what engine and rear-end do you have?

Man, I don't know what to tell you. But here is my advise such as it is.

Find a good performance mechanic in your area and take your rig there. They can scope it out and give you recommendations. I know the 04's don't get the milage of the 06's or 07's, but I think maybe you should be looking at 12.5 around town at least.

Good luck, and post your findings. A lot of other people have a same issue.

I only get 12.5 to 13 mpg around town. It's been that way since I brought her home and continued to remain stable even after adding the CAI and exhaust. What part of the country are you in? If your running reformulated gas and you've got some miles on the car that might just be what the mixed driving numbers come in at unfortunately.

If I were you I'd run some seafoam though it and depending on the mileage change the plugs. I'd also loose the spacer, check the tire pressure, replace the fuel filter and make sure the air filter is clean. Good luck!

What kinda tune is that chip set-up for..?? I personally haven't messed with the Diablo chips but I'm sure there are others here that can help w/some sort of correlation that maybe linked to the odd milage.

As one user put it on here...(iirc) "That spacer is only a over-priced paper weight"...
It seems to be a crap-shoot on who actually gets use out of it.

For kicks and giggles and if it was me and wondering about the HP and gas mileage. I would...
maybe rip all the mods out... power cycle it then Dyno for a baseline. Then add-in your mods to to see what you get. At the same time I'd look at the gas milage.

Btw... you running "normal" /OEM sized tires on it?

the biggest question I would be asking you is are you basing the fuel mileage on what the truck and/or the tuner are telling you or have you taken you last three (at least) fuel receipts and recorded the miles per tank on them so you can accurately calculate the mileage. I have to deal with fuel mileage concerns at work as the number one complaint especially with the price of fuel and at least 19 out of 20 people are amazed when i tell them what they are getting as their actual mileage when they keep receipts for me for a few tanks........
My Edge tuner says I'm averaging 10.6 mpg, My truck tells me 12.5mpg. My fuel records worked out properly tell me 13.5mpg on average........2004, 5.4l lariat with a somewhat heavy foot. There are so many factors in figuring fuel mileage properly that no one will ever get the same reading as one another, windy area? one block stop and go traffic? outside temps? rear end ratio? tire size? feet above sea level? does a light foot to you equal a heavy foot to me? what is a heavy foot? etc etc. soooo many factors, soooo little time. todays vehicles will for the most part tell you if they are not running properly via check engine lights, anything that is not running 100% but not misfiring should not create such a horrible MPG average. IMHO.

like I said in your other thread

be one with the turtle

oh yeah, and ditch the spacer. in the days of carbs, spacers were king. with direct port injection, their just another waste of money like those stupid cyclone air thingys

You may have issues...

I would start by cycling everything -disconnect the batt for 5 minutes

Then drive the truck on fresh gas and retake the milage

If you still get below 15 I would start removing mods -starting with that chip
