f150 gas mileage

i've got a 04 screw lariat 4x4, it's got edge tuner, k&n CAI, i got good gas mileage til i moved out to colorado. in NC i was getting around 18 mph in the city, out here i get about 14mph. i figured out the regular gas in CO is 85 octane, in NC it was 87. so it may be the type of gas your using!

Dang, I've got a 2000 5.4 4x4 and the last time I calculated it I got 12.6. This tank will probably be just a hair higher. It sounds here compared to y'all that I'm kinda low, am I just imagining this? (sorry, not trying to hijack the thread)
