Dash squeaks

Now that it's colder,I have noticed my dash squeaking quite a bit(Thankfully the radio works well). Is this normal in these OBS trucks ? I saw a Ford part on ebay that is suppose to correct this. I guess the Factory knew about this. Should I get this part to correct this or is there something else I can do. My 78 and 00 never make a sound. Thanks

Not sure about the squeek not knowing where it is coming from. Are you sure it is the dash and not the steering wheel. Post the link to the ebay item I am curious.

Curious also, would like to see it. Alot of dash squeaks are from the dash rubbing on the A-pillar trim or kick panel. Check these areas.

I did some research on it our dashs have brackets that hold it to the cab, over time they crack, break get loose. The kit replaces the brackets so no more squeaks.
