how do i remove the radio/cd player to install a new one.

 

You need a couple of U shaped tools that are readily available to remove the head unit. You should be able to see 2 holes on each side of the radio the the ends of the U fit in. The head unit slids right out after inserting the U tool. You should be able to get them online of from an auto audio store. I've heard you can make your own using a coat hanger.

And get a wiring harness adapter before hacking up the factory wiring. Me personally, I'm sick of having to install stereos after some highschool kid hacks the wiring up, and then can't figure out what wire goes to what. So then they come to me and ask for help.
