remove radio/cd player 2000 ford explorer

You need a couple of U shaped tools that are readily available to remove the head unit. You should be able to see 2 holes on each side of the radio the the ends of the U fit in. The head unit slids right out after inserting the U tool. You should be able to get them online of from an auto audio store. I've heard you can make your own using a coat hanger.
