"thump" when coming to a stop, caliper sticking?
I have a 99 Lariat F150 standard cab, 5.4L with 26000 miles. Many times (not always) right after stopping when I let off the brake pedal, I feel a slight "thump" in the brake pedal. I can hear it too, though barely. I think it's coming from one of the front calipers. It almost seems like one of the calipers is sticking for a split second. I have changed the brake pads but it still happens. It happens after the first drive in the morning and also after a long drive. It's not picky! It brakes great though, doesn't pull to either side. Any ideas? It's not driving me to crazy, I'm just worried it's the beginning of something worse. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
