I'm with you on that, with a 23ft long truck it would be nice to not hit the trailer to know when to stop backing up to it.

There was a guy who had it and posted some pictures of it quite awhile ago, it is really cool looking and I wish my dad got it in his truck

I agree somebody find out about adding this feaature.

I have a job 2 truck. But I ordered it to the job 1 specks. Two weeks later the rearview camera was anounced. I'd really like to add the camera.

Mine is not factory but I have the new Eclipse in dash navigation/dvd combo and I added the Eclipse back up camera. Works perfect and even better when i need to hook the trailer up or tow.

Go to Best Buy auto section.
They have almost the exact same modle that Ford puts on the trucks.
The only difference is the camera is built into the tail gate...

i ordered the backup camera with my new superduty. I didnt think that i would use it that often... but it is great to hookup a trailer, backing up it tight spots, and looking for small children while backing up. I was amazed at how good it works at night in the dark. I think that it is worth the $ for the option.

I'm glad to here that people like their back up camera but I think the thread was about if anyone has installed the factory one on their Job 1 trucks. I am interested in do the same and will look into seeing if my dealer can preform the surgical tasks to make it a reality once I get back home. another week...

Sure they can but the unit at Best Buy is like $169.00 with rear view mirrow with video screen built in.
You can also use it on a Dual video head unit....
