I guess it is still cat back but the truck has two cats so it is true duals.
When I say $250, I mean installed.

I figured I'd reply here for "kcchief434"
i got ur email m8 but u've got ur profile set to not except emails so i cant send u one back ....lol

anyway his question...

"first of all sweet truck. i had a queston because i want to redo my exhaust with the same muffler as you have the aeroturbine, does it sound good and do you get any low end power out of it???? i have the 5.4 motor as well"

to answer it...

i "lost" my "cat", I Highly reccomend adding the Stealth200 muffler with the Aeroturbine 3030XL as it does create some Cab drone at certian rpms with out the stealth200.

It is exceptionally better then stock, I added an exhaust for the performance not for the sound. my truck jumps off the line! (all though i do use a intake and chip as well)

my peak torque is around 3k-4k rpm i'll hit 5k+ rpm if its to the floor.

I dont have any issues at low speed/rpm even pulling my 6k lbs trailer. meaning i dont need to rev the engine to get it moving or anything like that, just idle to 1500rpm.

I have a Magnaflow 14" SI/DO on my truck and really like it...

For a single I'd just do a muffler swap as was suggested by another member and throw a nice tip on. I put a Flowmaster 40 on my Dad's truck and it was pretty loud... only lasted 3 years before it rusted from the inside out though. We replaced it with a Dynomax XL turbo and it has a deeper, more performance-like sound instead the just being loud.

i have a RED HOT brand glass pack on my truck, everything else is stock, sounds good from outside, lower rpms it really rumbles, i would not go this route if you do not like hearing the sweet sweet sound of the V8 in the cab, in my opinion i think its better then radio but every one is different thats a 2000 F.250 5.4

I recently purchased a Bank's monster exhaust cat-back system and absolutely love it. Usually folks associate Bank's truck performance roducts with deisel engines...BUT they do make some nice products for the gas engines as well. Has a nice low end growl when stomping on the gas...but pretty civilized at cruising speeds. Has an awsome fat tail pipe. It is a bit on the expensive side but the quality speaks for itself...I paid $575.00 directly from the factory. So if you want something a bit more unique than the more common Flowmaster, Magnaflow cat-back exhaust systems...check it out.

i took the stock muffler off of my f250 and replaced it with a y pipe right behind the catallitic converter. then i took the duals and turned them out right behind the rear tires then i put 4 inch tips on it...it sounds awsome!!! and best of all i payed 170 dollars for it. if you are looking for a good sound this is it
