Is it worth updating?

<HR style="COLOR: #666666" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message --><TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top width="100%">I have a 1995 F250 4X4 Powerstroke with only 95K miles, I am the original owner. The body and cab are in excellent condition.

My problem is that when towing my enclosed car hauler it is difficult if not impossible to keep up with the later model diesels. The engine is bone stock and the rear is a 4:11.
Should I consider making upgrades to the engine and exhaust system to increase power or just forget about it and buy a newer Ford with more power.

Thanks,
RD

Well...

A new truck would be a whole lot more than a few upgrades... your call...

Roger, first of all welcome aboard. you have an envy truck because the low mileage and for be the first owner, dont think to buy a new one, yours is a wonderfull truck and ofcourse you can upgrade it, as your wallet can handle, with very good results in HP and torque, just ask here, before do anything, OK?

turn the horse power up, its much cheaper then a new truck, and you truck will be 10 times as reliable as a new one.

Thanks for the response guys, I think I'll stick with the 95 so where do I start? I'll do one modification at a time as I also am supporting a track car and that comes first.
