Differences from XLT to Eddie Bauer?

Hello All,

I'm in the market for a used Expedition and I was at first considering an Eddie Bauer but have now started to look at XLT's. Are the cloth seats in the XLT comfortable for long trips? And besides leather, memory seats and electronic climate control what does the Eddie Bauer typically have over the XLT?

I will be coming from a 2004 F150 fx4 supercab with a 107,000 miles.

Thank You in advance!

I would goto Fords website and take a look.

You can get leather in XLT as an option. The wheels are different, body cladding and chrome pieces, grill, rear radio controls I think.

Yep...as stated, go to Ford's page and you can compare them there. I believe you can download the brochure and see the options in hard copy as well.

I have a 07 EB non EL, But I don't know what the difference is between a XLT and a EB. I would check the Ford web site.
Here is one thing I am glad I got the non EL as I did not need the extra space anyway, but the new duplex I rented this summer had a small garage that would not have been able to close the garage door on an EL.
Now I am in a new rented Condo and the same thing here too. Be sure to check your garage first before buying an EL.
The new three bedroom ranch style house I bought in 2002 had a two car garage with a lot of extra space. But I sold it in 2005.
There does seem to be a lot of differences in garage sizes.

Nothing worse than not being able to fit the truck in the garage. I had a house that was built in the 50's and had a single detached garage. It was the smallest garage I had ever seen. I could not pull a 95 Honda Civic in without hitting the mirrors. Were cars bigger back then?? :0

Thanks for the info guys. I didn't know you could get the brochures on the ford website. As to the length of the Expedition EL I know what you mean, I also have a condo with a short garage.
