You lost me at taking anything CR reports seriously. I'm sure I'm not the only one here.
Using anything off Youtube as a credible source??!!!
It's funny how people tend to agree with CR when the data is in their favor or it likes their vehicles. Prior to the issues with the 07 Toyota Camry and Tundra CR loved Toyota.
The CR ratings are generated from complaints from People who own these vehicles.
I like CR. IMHO they are pretty fair in their reviews although some people might disagree.
When CR downgrades a vehicle from reccomended to unreliable, that's a pretty big deal.
It's good that Toyota has issues with their new trucks. It will make them fix the problems and upgrade the quality and reliability back to where it belongs.
This is good for everyone as the bar will be raised and all Manufacturers will have to keep building better Trucks.
It's a win win situation for us.
Didnt CR rate the F150 as the most reliable truck?
No bizarely the 4x2 Tundra was best and the 4x4 Tundra was worst if I remember correctly. They're almost identical mechanically except for the transfer case.
I think the Dodge Ram was the most reliable pickup out of the Big 3 offerings.
then why does the new titan commercial say new for 2008 a fully boxed frame?? also once again all you have to do is look ALL AROUND this website and others you will see where people have came on here and stated that it handles a trailer better than the other trucks they have had.
The Titan underwent a face lift in 2008, adding such options as a 7 foot bed on CC's and a 8 foot bed on KC's. Since the truck was restyled, Nissan is pointing out it has a fully boxed frame. All you need to do is look at any 2004 Titan and see the boxed frame for yourself. When the truck was introduced in late 2003, Nissan exhibited a rolling chassis at all the autoshows. The frame is boxed from stem to stern. I don't need to look, I know, since I own both. In November 2003, I bought a new 2004 Lariat CC, last year I bought a new 2006 Titan SE CC.
Go to the Ram site, the Titan site, any other truck site...and just like here on FTE, the truck owners on those sites claim their truck tows the best. Since I don't need to tow anything, I could care less whether one can tow more than the other.

Uh huh....yeah right.
As far as general Ford truck knowledge is concerned, I doubt there are too many ppl on the planet that know more about them than I do. Not only did I grow up in the biz (my family owned an Olds dealership for 80 years), I worked in the industry, mostly for Ford for 40 years. I bought 7 new Ford trucks from 1965 thru 2004. I'm a car/truck collector, owning over 300 cars/trucks since 1956...70 of which were Ford products. See = Delaware Chapter - thread - How many Fords have you owned? - post #49. I have over 2,000 books on auto/truck history, and have written hundreds of articles on Fords (and Packards) for car club publications since 1965.
While 85% + of my 10,000 posts on FTE are parts related, I've prolly typed at least 500 posts on Ford history.

Some of you guy's crack me up. You see one bad picture of it and you either hate it or love it.
that's what I was thinking. I do know I want the dash with the 100 button option though, whatever that may end up being. Only thing I've seen so far that has that many buttons is an 07 7 series bimmer.

I like everything but that front clip, it looks like an Expedition
And that plethora of buttons on the dash looks terribly annoying, i meen ive seen US Naval control panels simpler than that!
I really like the little bit of flare lines around the wheel wells and rocker panels, reminds me nicely of the 1981-97 trucks
