Got a remote start question...

Got a remote start question...

This may seem like an elementary question for the newer ford trucks cause I havent been able to find out much information about the installation of the ford remote start kits. The kits that I have found that are from ford pretty much look like they just clip in. Like this one...

Basically I'm wondering if anyone has put one in. I have an 06 Explorer and it already has the remote entry as well as the keyless entry. Would prefer to stay with ford parts. So just basically trying to figure out if that link is what I need and if it isnt what I would need as well as how hard are they to put in. Thanks a bunch in advance!!

No -from my experience the ford suggested (codealarm) uses a bunch of vampire style harness connections.

Do it yourself and solder the connections
