Ethanol is about 113 octane from the quick research that I did based on the fact that they are using/going to use it in indy.
Ethanol and Methanol are both toxins. Methanol is more substantially toxic than ethanol.
Everclear is 95% ethanol not 100%

As long as your F150 is FFV (Flex fuel vehicle) you should have no problems.

all 06+ are, except for the heavy duties (for some reason you can't select the HD package and ffv motor on ford's site)

Yes maybe but I have been told E85 is between 50 cents and $1.00 less per gallon. Have you seen those king of prices yet?

they're around 60-80 cents cheaper per gallon over here. 2.89-2.99 for regular, 2.19-2.29 for e85

On a 20 gallon tank with E85 70 cents per gallon cheaper you are still ahead $12.60 per 20 gallons. Not only saving money but helping to lesson our dependancy on foreign oil. Good Deal!

I have an 06 and it was a no cost option. Not all 06's were FFV because I specifically looked for a FFV.

Benning, what would it eventually cost the economy if we DIDNT send the troops to the middle east? Maybe you should read up on WWII. You havent had to sacrifice basically ANYTHING
