Steering wheel removal
#2
Congrats on the find. That didn't take very long...did it? J/K
The 2 screws holding the horn pad come from back side of the steering wheel. Pop off the horn pad to expose the center nut for the wheel. If you have an air bag (unlikely) there a re 4 screws holding the horn pad. Be sure to disconnect battery to starter relay cable for at least one minute to let the air bag backup power supply discharge.

We'll let it slide this once Jim. Yep like Jim said the second time the horn pad just pulls off. remove the nut and then you need a bolt grip puller. the steering wheel center will have two threaded holes to put bolts in then put some pressure on it with the puller. Then hit the top of the puller with a hammer. the steering wheel should just pop right off. I have had the bolt hole break before so if that happens you have a harder time getting it apart.

I loosten the nut, leave it in place enough turns so it can't come off ,,pull, fairly hard , rocking it back and forth ,it will come off without hitting anything,,
when it comes off,,
the nut keeps it away from your nose,,,,
Pullers are fairly cheap now ,,Seems though, you frequently don't have the right thread , or lenth of bolt..
