Spray on bed liner on Tonneau cover?

I have a tonneau cover that is faded and will not shine up with tonneau restorers. Its a stiff one that does not roll up. Here is my original post: http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/66...hlight=tonneau So...
I was playin around with some spray on bed liner today and got to thinking, Can I spray this stuff on my tonneau cover and be done with it? THe plan sounds to good to be true. What do you guys think?
