I'm all for regional G2G; I must be honest it doesn't matter when or where; everybody's schedule will not work for all G2G's; but there's always other times to meet as well. I like to see how many folks are in my neck of the woods to G2G; but I'm more like a car club show & shine type than meet & greet let's eat & drink kinda guy. Hosting an event in my AO sounds good; but my work schedule rotates weekly.

Grey Wolf; how could we determine the amount of FTE are in our area's to determine hosting a G2G?

I will also have too confess; I hang out mostly at the Slick forum and rarely view the local forum; I guess I just figure out my new years resolution. Boy hope I can keep it..

This is a great forum for local & national actions..

Mitch

I think County 'micro-chapters' (branches) would be both big enough and small enough to work well. With that in mind, let's launch some pilot "Branch Threads" to see what happens. I have just launched a Tipton County thread, it can be a model for other threads - but it can be revised as it goes along.

I think we should try the county branch idea & see if it works. I am for anything that might get more members to the G2Gs

I think some counties need to be merged in though, I think I'm the only one in williamson county here, or atleast I don't recall someone else saying.

It may be that initially Williamson and one or more other counties form a thread - and if enough are attracted to split the thread later on it can be done then (simplest way I can think of to do it). So yeah - why not?

Another idea i seen last night as i was skipping through the channels. There is a Mustang club in Jackson that has a spot on the cable public announcement channel that is looking for members to join their mustang club. I am going to check this out this week. I believe it is free.

I don't actually remember the last time I had my TV connected to a cable OR an antenna. I should rig something up just in case of an emergency when I need news.

It was easy. Just copy the URL and then paste onto the ad.

Id be up for a middle TN G2G. Bass Pro Shop or somewhere similar sounds good, just maybe not new years day. Maybe a random saturday after the first of the year.
