Havent seen any comments on this new warranty on this forum as has been discussed on others. Seems worth while to me. I purchased for my 04 excursion.

The warranty can be bought from any dealer and it is a very good idea to do some shopping. Individual dealer sets the actual price and it appears to vary greatly.

 

The above post covers it. Priceing is negotiable. Have seen quotes as low as $1475 on the 13 point.

 

Thanks guys. Looks like the 21 point is almost exactly like the 100k Powerstroke warranty, but without the deductible. I am thinking about this. 200k miles is a long time, and it looks like a good warranty.

 

Read the warranty period closer, it is 7yr/200k but the time clock starts when the vehicle is first put into service just like the 3/36k & 5/100k. So the seven years started counting when the truck was first sold. If you drive alot of miles per year, you may reach the mileage window, if you average 20k miles per year you will basically be getting an additional 2yr extension.
