I just replaced my gas tank and had a hard time removing the 3/8 gas line fitting at the sending unit. Is it supposed to have 2 pieces or did it break? The main body has an orange o-ring inside it and there is another o-ring on the sending unit with a small piece of black plastic also. I'm planning on replacing the sending unit with a new one & fuel pump and using a piece of rubber fuel line with splice kit to join the plastic fuel line. Anyone run into a problem like this?
