Exclamation Headlight problem

I Have a 2002 F250 SD Crew Cab 5.4l and the driverside headlight will not illuminate its low beam the high is fine and I have tried replaceing the bulb. Anyone have an input. Thanks

i would check the fuses, i believe there are fuses for each of the high and low beams. it should be in the fuse box under the hood (at least it was on my 2000)

then if the fuses are fine. when you replaced the bulb did you look at the socket? if you see alot of white powder on the terminals then the socket needs to be replaced.

go to autozone and pick up a headlight bulb socket ($4.95) if it looks like it is bad.

Thankyou for the response I took your advice and looked at the bulb socket again and when I took a look at it I saw that there was a pinch in the wire were it had worn through and was grounding to the body so quick fix. thanks again.
