Anybody in Brookings, SD?

In about six weeks my wife, daughter, and I will be moving our junk and our vehicles to Brookings, SD.

I was just curious if anybody lived out that way. We don't "know" anybody in the area, yet that is.

I'm newly transplanted to the Jefferson, SD area... guess that will be a ways south of where you are headed. You'll probably pass through here on your trip north. I'm just a stone's throw into SD north of Sioux City, IA.

I suppose this makes me a member of the High Plains chapter once again, although I don't think I ever left the chapter when I left Montana back in 2004.

I used to work there at Twin City Fan, still have friends around the area... Unfortunately, I don't get back there very often...

Yes and no, one guy right there in Brookings, then some over to Huron. I have what was almost my step daughter that still considers me Dad because I was more of one than her biological father over in Huron as well. There were some others in the Brookings area, but have lost touch with most of them. Still have contact info for one other. He was an old rodeo bull rider...
