Okay, was I the only one to see the guy with over 1 million miles on his truck in another recent thread?????
nope, he had 1,175000 it was on a 99 or 00 PSD, but he had I think 6 over 750,000, most maintenance he does is pull valve covers for GP's if it gets more in depth he replaces it.

All out highway miles are alot easier on the trucks than normal driving. Everytime I go down a dirt road I find some new rattle I have to track down .

That many miles is very impressive. I was talking to my local diesel tech and he was comparing the 3 powerstroke motors and if I remember he said.....
7.3 motors have a 500k mile service life
6.0 maybe 250k on average (he hates these motors, but they are making him rich)
6.4 well..... He suggested buying a gas motor or a cummins lol

yeah obviously the guy runs three shifts through the same trucks if I remember right they are stranded vehicle service trucks, probably never shut off, but still that is a long way to go.

click on the blackstone labs link and order a free sample kit, it is so easy a caveman can do it, and you may be better of than staying in a holiday in. It is about 22 bucks, and 1-2 dollars to ship it in to them.
