Question projector headlight questions!!

how well to these headlights work? and I dont want no "I think" or "maybes" I want answers from people who have used them. These lights I think would really clean up my front end of my truck

what happens is they give you a connector that splits up your high beam from the lows and outside bulb is for lows and the inside bulb is for highs. The LEDs can be spliced into the turn signal harness or the normal headlight wires so they turn on when you turn on the headlights. If it does not come with the splitter they give you directions on which wires to tap for the highs and lows

just noticed it had angel eyes, best think to do is tap into the turn signals so you can have the LEDs and angel eyes turn on without turning the headlights on or you can hook them up to a seperate switch so you can turn them on when you want. Plus there are two sets of LEDs so you could hook the outside ones to the turnsignals and the inside ones to a seperate switch or to the headlights

well how well do they light the road? I know I put a set in my gf's maxima 2000 model and now it lights up everything at night and is very bright and really nice looking as well, but I know on some models they dont work as well like the chevy truck models, i just dotn want to blow 150 on these and they look good but they suck at night.

if you swap the connections you can use the high beam bulbs for low beams but i do not recommend that, but the height of the truck is harder to light up the road even though it is only a few inches higher than a car. I know in a mustang they light up nice and i saw a lightning and it looked nice at night. But those plus some silver stars or an HID kit meant for projectors and you are set with style and daylight at night. On chevys they suck because the way the headlights are.

I haven't had the type you're looking at but I've had the Depo chrome 'L' style and now I have the black APC. The Depos weren't great but the APCs are pretty good. If you don't get enough output, you can always add driving lights. I've got some 4" in my spoiler w/ high and low watt bulbs. And some 6x7 100w offroad lights behind the grill.

I dont really care for all kinds of lights all over the front, if the headlights cant do it for me then I just wont use them any more (take'em out and sell them) they also offer these with the HID light with them for about 100 more, im interested but worried about the heat and will it effect these lights, I dont want to melt my lights!

here are the best HID kits i have seen, they are meant for a mustang but i believe with the projectors all of them have the same bulb, i would really give these guys a call and see if they can help you out. Their HID kits keep your high and low setting unlike others that just have one setting (which sometimes is either an inbetween or high). Plus they do not have a problem with heat like other kits have.

well the lights are in....they look awesome..but came with regular bulbs. the projection is ok but i think it will improve when i get the 5900k bulbs in there. i dont know if my 6" lift makes a difference or not but our outcomes might differ since you are lower to the ground. anyways i'll post once more when the bright white bulbs are working and i'll let you guys know how well they light up.

I have those headlights on my 97 F150. They would dress up your truck real good, and they are very bright at night. Mine are black. However, I had to trim the mounting tabs behind the corner lights to get the grille to accept them. I don't know if you have to do the same.

It's your choice, man. I have had comments and stares from people when I drive around with these lights.

Just my 2 cents.
