I did 25 to life as an air traffic controller, got paroled in 2007. Before that I was an airplane mechanic for a few years, there's a very dusty A&P license somewhere around here.

Dang APOC, we're almost the same!

I'm a Sergeant at a Sheriff's Office with 6 years left until retirement, and I can't wait.

Previously, I was in the Marine Corps (88-93, MOS 6463) Radar Tech. I worked on the radar system of the F/A18 Hornet. I was mostly stationed at MCAS Beaufort, SC with two deployments to Iwakuni Japan.

In the near future, if we sell a piece of property that we have listed, we will be retired the next day. Hopefully we find a commercial interest that will buy the property.

I'm a foreman at a crushed stone quarry here in Richmond. 16 years and counting. Started here as an excavator operator and worked my way up. Been operating heavy equipment for 21 years, since I got out of high school.

I am a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. I bought my Ex years ago, when I owned a pool service company. 2 years ago I sold my company and changed careers. It was the best decision I ever made. I love my job!

Started in 1987 at a local Tool/Machine Shop as a Tool & Die Maker apprentice-was employee number 19. After getting my papers I completed the Industrial Mechanic Program.
I am now one of the Project Managers taking care of large automation projects which are mostly for the Automotive Industry-Brake and Fuel lines.
I now work alongside 165 employees. I still do enjoy building things for myself in the shop when the time permits.

I manage my father's business building the most durable cable reel, pole, combination cable/pole, and heavy equipment trailers for utility companies and rental companies. I started as a regular shop hand when my grandpa owned the business before he passed away.

One year left at school and I'll have that Business Management Degree to prove that I know "stuffs".

Before that I have 9 years combined service in the Army National Guard as an Engineer, and regular Army as an Infantryman before given an early retirement.

Which quarry do you work at? I run a moving company in Richmond and live in the west end. I'm only 23 so just getting started but looking for investment opportunities everyday.

So whats everyone do for a living?

I guess I will probably stand out as a stay at home mom. I used to train animals both domestic and Exotics (birds of prey were my forte) for t.v. and movies. Ever watch Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman in the 90's? I was the assistant dog trainer on that for the whole run. Also worked on Frasier, Sisters and some others not coming to mind. Went to Alaska and trained the dogs for On Deadly Ground with Steven Siegal. If you look real close at the scene with the huts and the sled dogs where Steven sneaks out you might see me as an Eskimo holding a dog back from attacking him.
In picture below with Jane Seymour I am all the one way to the right.
I also was the falconer at Medieval Times.

My husband is in law enforcement. Has 4 years left until he is going to retire. Our dream is to move out of Cali and live on a ranch in the middle of nowhere (as long as there are no tornadoes. )

That's so odd between you, ExxWhy and I! With he and I having the same jobs, and you and I both doing full time Army and then going national guard after getting out the first time...

The 'living' comes from Ford, designing structural enclosures and HV battery assemblies for HEV's.

What I 'do' is hot rods, coach/play hockey (myself and 2 kids) and try to have fun. I shoot and also work in and haul for a classic Ford resto shop. Last car we did took Premier its first time out.

Free time?? Whats that?!?
