Many thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!! I know where to go when I need help and answers. I'm going to take my truck by the Generator Shop in the town next to me. I've got a buddy(owner) there that is spot on when it comes to electrical stuff. I just wanted to check with ya'll first. Thanks again.

My original Motocraft ones lasted me over EIGHT years. Replaced with some other brand and then had to re-replace them. Stick with Motocraft.

Thanks again. I went by my buddies shop today. He checked the batteries with a load test. They checked out in pretty good shape, not the best but good enough. Keith said it was a no go on the rebuild of the starter. He said it would be cheaper to replace it.They haven't had much luck in making the rebuilt starters last. I told him I'd be by next Tuesday to get it;because I have a $690 dollar INSURANCE(6 MONTHS)bill due this week. He told me to go ahead an take it with me.I told him thanks alot;but I'd have to wait. Guys the morrel to the story is you don't run across many people like this anymore.I guess thats why their called friends. Thanks so much for ya'lls help.

I have hauled loads of batteries from a delco plant in Ind.,and load from Exide in north central Ind. At the Exide plant the warehouse was full of interstate, napa, motorcraft, and probably 2-3 dozen other generic names. Granted this was 10yrs ago.
