We are already into the winter months, and many disadvantaged children need coats, including raincoats, galoshes, all of the things families end up with a ton of that have been outgrown.
Perhaps a school district, or a church could be chosen as a delivery point - making the donated things more direct then say, the Salvation Army.
Or even possibly a military base.....
Many enlisted families live hand to mouth at times, and such things if in good shape would go a very long way to helping a lot of grateful troops families.
-Just an idea.

If you have a base near you - your best points of contact (which would be listed in the base directory) are FIRST the base Chaplains office. That is who I would contact first. Then there is also ARMY, NAVY, or AIR FORCE Relief. But the Chaplains are a lot more direct.

Hey it was decided early on that the cl would have an office for 1 year then we would change. This way we feel that the chapter will not be a one person chapter.
He won the election by a landslide, great guy. Bust his chops when he needs it. lol
