Can't speak for how they are on a 150, but I had them on an 05 f250 and was very pleased. The did well in all weather conditions including 10-12 inches of the white stuff.

From everything that I have seen and heard it would be pretty much a matter of which one you could get a better deal on. The performance ought to be very similar.

Can you even get the Silentarmor right now? There was a supply problem on the 17's. If you intend to buy LT rated tires ask about the benefits of the Wrangler Pro Grade. They are a bit different from the standard Silentarmors and the local oilpatch guys say they stand up very well. Again could be availability issues.

The other tires I would take a look at as well are the Toyo M55 and the Cooper Discoverer ST. They will both be a bit noisier that the other two, but still within tolerable levels, and a bit better in snow and mud.

Both tires have gotten good reviews, and I'd run either one, but I think I'd get the silent armors before many other tires.
I'd also consider the Firestone Destination LE (I wouldn't waste my money on the A/T, the tread is only slightly wider, and not worth the extra money).

I have the 18" revos and with only 11/32 of tread depth they are not lasting. They ride great and are quiet after 23k miles though. I hope I get 35k out of them.

Both the Discoverer ST and the Toyo M55 have 18/32 treads.

Put about 30k miles on a set of M55's with about half the tread left (lease truck that went back) and I have about 20k miles on my current Discoverers with well over half the tread remaining. Both sets of tires were run a fair amount on northern Saskatchewan gravel road and it is not unheardof for me to run the Discoverers at 100 mph (had them up to about 110 once but the hood vibrates a little too much for my tastes at that speed).

when i bought my truck it had the bridgestone revo's on it. nice tire overall. rode smooth and was very quiet. i removed them though because after going out in the desert i could see how soft the sidewalls are and i didnt want to puncture them. so now they are sitting in my backyard.

As of the end of last month the Goodyears were on national backorder. The same for all the other manufacturers of 255-70-17 except the Generals. I went with BFG ATKO 265-70-17. I am very happy with my decision. Food for thought.

That's the tire I will be going with, no questions. Had several sets on different trucks and they are the best truck tires I have ever had. I especially like the fact that they are rated as an actual snowtire.

Just my .02

04 screw fx4-I've got the Silent Armor pro grade. I've only got about 1000 miles on them and haven't really had them in any weather....no snow yet. They do ride well though. I got rid of Nitto Tera Grapplers. I was happy with them in winter so I will post later when I get them wet.
