Train Horns :)
Finally took pics of my new train horns.
5 trumpet Strategic separates
3 trumpet Anvil horns
Viair 380c 200psi Compressor
2 3 gallon tanks (6 gallons of air total)
Everything was purchased from Seige Engineering on Ebay. I would buy from these guys again in a heart beat. They have the best customer service I have ever dealt with. They always answer the phone and put the customer first.
I mounted the horns between the grill and the radiator. There is a plastic cover that sits on top of the radiator. To prevent having to cut this for the top of the train horns I mounted a piece of metal to the crossmember in front of the radiator and then mounted the horns to the piece of metal. This dropped the top of the horns down 1".
I ran the air and electrical lines through the frame.
3 gallon tank mounted on the inside of the frame rail on the passenger side. Just clears the exhaust tubing by about an 1". So far no problems with the tank getting hot and I've had it for 2 months now.
Anvil train horns mounted on the cross member just behind the transfer case. These horns are huge. Barely had enough room to fit them.
Second 3 gallon tank and compressor mounted in the tool box.
These horns are amazingly loud!!!!! I can tell someone that I'm about to blow my horns and they still jump. These are not for childs play and can be heard for at least 2 miles. They are so loud that when I blow them at someone sitting at a red light and it turns green, they don't go becuase they are so starttled. So then I blow it again !!!

Nice job! You might wanna think about replacing those butt splices with something waterproof (marine type) or heat-shrinking them. Also, the wiring underneath could benefit from grommets and looms for protection - JMHO.
If I put your set-up on my Explorer, it would probably back up when I hit the horns!!!

I bought the kit from Seige Engineering on Ebay for $330 shipped. I spent about 2 months watching their listing. I probably bid on about 5 different listings, but they always would go higher than I was willing to pay.
I estimate about $400 total spent. I had to buy extra fittings, air line, and electrical wire. Fittings aren't cheap. They average about $2 per fitting.

And when you do, you'll be scared, guaranteed. HAHA!!
Surely there's someone around where you live that has some. They are becoming more and more popular in my area. Start sitting through some green lights at intersections and I'm sure you'll have the joy of hearing some.
