jmac71 is starting off with a positive reputation.
edge evolution 06 6.0 disconnected battery

i disconnected battery without putting back to stock. now i cannot get the trans to shift the same. do i have to drive it for a while to re learn?

You shouldn't have to return to stock before or after disconnecting the battery. The edge flashes the programs into permanent memory. So most likely you are correct, the transmission simply needs to relearn it's conditions.

If you're concerned however, there would be no problem with returning it to stock and then reloading whichever program you normally use.
