1997 5.4l and info on PI heads

I have a 1997 F250 LD w/5.4L With 139,000 miles on it. Engine runs great. I was wondering if you could swap a set of PI heads and intake on this engine. 1999 PI motors have different pistons and the dowel pin is in a different location on the head. I think.

In short yes you can swap the heads and intake. The only real concern is the compression will go up enough you will need to run premium all the time to try and keep the detonation under control,
