HELP!! Horn Wiring
hey guys. truck is a 1997 old body style f350. im trying to install an aftermarket horn that i bought at a NAPA. when i located the horn on my truck, i noticed that it has 2 horn bells facing eachother. they each have one wire going into them.
i only bought one horn, and it gave directions for a 2 wire system. will i be ok installing just one horn to replace the 2 stock horns, or should i buy 2 after market horns to directly replace what i have?
quick help would be appreciated. thanks.

One horn will be fine. The reason you have two horns is they are a high tone and a low tone.
To hook your horn up, pick one of the factory horn wires, and hook it to your new horn, and then tape the factory wire going to the to the other horn off. If you mount your new horn to something metal, it should work. If it's not mounted to where it can get a ground, then you will have to connect another wire to the new horn body, and then connect the other end of this wire to a metal part on the body of the truck.
